Natural Cold And Flu Buster

I seem to have acquired a cold! I wanted to share my “go to” cold remedy for you. Please note there are many other remedy choices out there but this one works well for me so I keep coming back to it!


Here’s my Natural Cold And Flu Buster !

*Oil of oregano – antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antiseptic, etc properties. It does not create antibiotic resistant superbugs. I take 4 drops in a tiny bit of water 3-4 times per day.

*Tomatoes – high in vitamin c which is an antioxidant and supports the immune system. Also high in lycopene which is another antioxidant that protects our cells from damage. I will chop up 1-2 cups of tomato, warm it on the stove briefly to enhance absorption of these components.

*Garlic (raw) – boosts immune system and has anti-bacterial and antiviral effects. I crush two cloves on top of the heated tomatoes, crack some Himalayan pink salt on top and dig in!

*Probiotics (not pictured) – I would have to write a whole book on the benefits of these guys! I will take a high dose of probiotics a few times a day away from the oil of oregano.
